Isn’t it GOOD that normal, sane, decent people are disarmed inside airports? Therefore unable to defend themselves during situations like this. Not that they could be legally armed anyway, even in the “non-secure” areas of the airport, since, unless you happen to be rich, politically connected, a movie star, or all three, you can’t get a concealed carry permit in L.A. Also great to see how effective the laws making it “illegal to possess, import, or purchase assault weapons” in California are at cutting down on gun violence. Because, y’know, of all those people who would have no problem with going into a public area and murdering double-digit innocent human beings….but doing it with a gun type that’s locally illegal would be, to them, COMPLETELY unacceptable.
